VISAKHAPATNAM: The railways will operate a pair of special trains between Secunderabad and Guwahati via Guntur for four trips to clear extra rush in summer between May 8 and June 1. These trains will have stoppages at Duvvada, Vizianagaram, Palasa, Brahmapur, Khurda Road, Bhubaneswar, Cuttack and Bhadrak besides Visakhapatnam over East Coast Railway jurisdiction.
According to a release, the Secunderabad-Guwahati special train (no.07149) will leave Secunderabad on Fridays on May 8, 15, 22 and 29 at 7.30 am which will reach Visakhapatnam the same day at 8 pm. The train will leave Vizag at 8.20 pm and reach Guwahati on Sundays on May 10, 17, 24 and 31 at 7.55 am. In the return direction, the Guwahati-Secunderabad special train (no.07150) will leave Guwahati on Mondays on May 11, 18, 25 and June 1 at 6 am and reaches Visakhapatnam on Tuesdays on May 12, 19, 26 and June 2 at 6.40 pm. The train will leave Vizag at 7 pm and arrives at Secunderabad the next day at 9.30 am.
