VIJAYAWADA: In a bid to boost the morale of the party workers and encourage them to work more proactively to propagate ideology of the party and the Central government’s schemes, the BJP city unit felicitated the city party activists who made it possible for the online membership drive to cross 2-lakh mark in the city.
Addressing the gathering at a private Kalyana Mandapam in Hanumanpet here Saturday, party state general secretary J Shyam Kishore said it was not just the ones who were felicitated but each and every activist of the party had striven for achieving the target. If not for their relentless efforts, the feat could not have been achieved, he added.
Shyam Kishore said that the ‘Maha Sampark Abhiyaan’ of the party would begin next month. He said as part of the programmme, the activists should go on a door-to-door campaign explaining party’s ideology, policies and the good work being done by the BJP government at the Centre.
Party leaders Ravindra Raju, P Srinivas, P Krishna Bhagvan, V Srinivas Raju and P Malakondaiah were present.
