TIRUPATI:A months-old infant was found dead under mysterious circumstances at his home on Sunday night. The boy’s grandparents and relatives made allegations over the mother’s behaviour and approached police demanding her arrest. According to reports, Ram Kumar and Karishma got married two years ago and had a baby boy, Prabhas, eight months ago.
On Sunday midnight, the infant is said to have fallen down from bed while asleep and received a head injury. The couple immediately rushed him to a nearby hospital, but the doctors declared him brought dead.
Grandparents suspect foul play in the boy’s death. They alleged that Karishma behaviour with the child was not good. “Often, she beat my grandson. For the last couple of weeks, her behaviour became worse,” said Madhavi, the boy’s grandmother.
