VIJAYAWADA:A five-year-old boy - L Somshankar - was allegedly kidnapped by e unidentified miscreants from his home in Prajashakti Nagar at Kandrika Karrakatta under Nuna police station limits in the early hours of Saturday.
As per the complaint lodged by the boy’s parents, Somshankar lives with his parents in a small house and on Saturday morning two unidentified miscreants came on a bike and took him away. The boy’s father is an electrician.
The police, who registered a case and started investigation, said an old woman in the area saw the miscreants take away the boy and alerted the parents, but the miscreants managed to flee the place before they arrived. Locals say it was the third such incident in the locality in the last one year.
