CM to Launch Education Department's Website Today

VISAKHAPATNAM :  Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu is arriving here today to participate in the state-level Teachers’ Day, National Inter District Junior Athletics Meet and Srikrishna Janmastami celebrations.

CM will arrive by a special aircraft at 2.30 pm. He will directly proceed to the Teachers’ Day celebrations at AU Engg College grounds and present the best teacher awards.

This year, 80 teachers from school education, 14 from Intermediate education, 56 from higher education, two from technical education and six from social welfare residential educational institutions have been selected for the best teacher awards. On the occasion, the CM will launch the education department’s website.

HRD minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao, APSCHE chairman L Venugopal Reddy, secretary to higher education Sumita Dawra, commissioner of technical and college education B Udaya Lakshmi, secretary to school education RP Sisodia will attend.

The CM will visit the athletics meet at the Port Stadium and will present medals to the winners of the opening day of the three-day national event. He will later participate in the Srikrishna Janmastami celebrations, being organised by the Hare Krishna Movement at the AS Raja College grounds, MVP Colony.
