VISAKHAPATNAM : The ‘Best in Academics Trophy’ for the academic year 2014-15 has been awarded to Navy Children School in Visakhapatnam. The trophy was presented by Eastern Naval Command (ENC) Flag Officer Commanding-in-Chief Vice Admiral Satish Soni in a function organised at the school Wednesday, as part of the Teachers’ Day celebrations. The trophy was received by the school principal Nikita Tomar Mann.
The Eastern Naval Command recognises hard work and dedication of the teachers of 12 CBSE affiliated Schools under the aegis of the ENC by awarding the ‘Best in Academics Trophy’ to the best performing school in Class X and XII board exams on the occasion of Teachers’ Day. The trophy was constituted in the academic year 2009-10.
