HYDERABAD: The Hinduja Group is keen on investing in power sector, port development and automobile sector in Andhra Pradesh. This was disclosed by AP Assembly speaker K Sivaprasada Rao, who met the Hinduja Group representatives on the final day of his ongoing tour in London on Friday.
He went to London to take part in a convention on global climate change and also a roundtable conference on environmental issues, organised jointly by the British High Commission, Department of Energy and Climate Change, and the Carbon Trust of UK.
According to a statement released by the speaker’s office, the Hinduja representatives expressed their desire to invest in power, automobile and port development sectors in AP. The Hinduja Group has plans to adopt some villages in AP, Rao said.
