Burglars Break into NRI's House

GUNTUR: Unidentified miscreants burgled a house of an NRI, Jasti Sambasiva Rao aqt Sundurupalle village in Bapatla mandal of district on Tuesday night and decamped with valuables.

Taking advantage of the absence of the residents, who are away in USA since the last one month, the miscreants broke open the door and gained entry into the house. They forced open the almirah in the bedroom and took away gold and other valuables.

Jasti Sambasiva Rao was working for a pharma company in USA and had recently returned to his native place, with the idea of settling down. Noticing his house unlocked, neighbours alerted the Bapatla Taluk police, who deployed clues team and also informed the house owners.

The police are clueless about the quantum of the stolen valuables, as the inmates seem to have no clarity as to what they had left behind in the house and what they put in the bank safe lockers. Based on a complaint lodged by the relatives of Sambasiva Rao, the police registered a case.
