Exclusive OPD for Former Staff of VSP

VISAKHAPATNAM: Visakha Steel General Hospital (VSGH), the health wing of Visakhapatnam Steel Plant (VSP), extended another facility to their retired employees. An exclusive out patient department and pharmacy counter were opened in the VSGH for providing comprehensive health care to the retired employees of the plant.

RINL director (Personnel) GBS Prasad inaugurated the new facility in the presence of union leaders and senior officials. On the occasion, Prasad said that the VSP had always given priority to welfare of the employees.

The OPD services would cater to the needs of retired employees, including regular health evaluation, physical examination and also prescribe the most effective treatment. A number of retired employees were provided with the latest services on the opening day. They expressed gratitude to the management for taking care of their health needs even after retirement.

GM (Medical) Tripathi and Sharma,  general secretary of recognised union Mantri Rajasekhar, general secretary of Steel Executive Association P Satyanarayana and other union leaders, D Adinarayana and N Rama Rao were present.
