VISAKHAPATNAM: Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited (RINL), the corporate entity of Visakhapatnam Steel Plant, continues its march towards excellence by bagging two Class-C (LMMM and SMS-1) VRP awards (for 2013 performance year) for innovative suggestions for the ninth consecutive year. Each award carries a cash prize of Rs 25,000.
Union Minister of State for Labour and Employment Bandaru Dattatreya presented the awards to eight employees who gave two innovative suggestions and implemented them, at a function held in Delhi. B Nagesh Kumar (LMMM), K Ramesh (LMMM), VV Karunakara Rao (LMMM), V Venkateswara Rao (LMMM), B Koti Reddy (SMS-1), V Eswara Rao (SMS-1), BV Naidu (SMS-1) and P Pydi Raju (SMS-1) received the awards. Vishwakarma Rashtriya Puraskar is a National Award Scheme by Union Ministry of Labour and Employment.
