Rs 5 Lakh Fake Currency Seized

VISAKHAPATNAM:Officials of the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI), Visakhapatnam Region, seized Fake Indian Currency Notes worth Rs 5 lakh from a passenger of Guwahati-Bangalore super fast express at Visakhapatnam Railway Station on September 21. During interrogation, the accused revealed that the fake currency notes were being smuggled from Bangladesh  to Bangalore. The seized FICN were in denominations of Rs 500 and 1,000. The arrested was produced before the special judge for economic offences.
