ONGOLE: Unable to come out of debts made for cultivation, a farmer committed suicide by consuming pesticide in his fields in Turpuveeraiahpalem village of Darsi mandal on Friday.
According to information reaching here, the victim Madumanchi Velugondaiah (57) took loans from private persons for agriculture purpose. However, suffering losses in farming he could not repay the them. Darsi CI K Raghvendra registered a case.
