Court Employee Case Transferred to City

VISAKHAPATNAM: The Director-General of Police, CID, Hyderabad has transferred the case of Vizianagaram district court employee Nadukuri Venkata Rama Murthy, who in three consecutive years from 2013 has lured around 177 youngsters promising them jobs as record assistants, field assistants, process server and attendants in various courts in Coastal Andhra Pradesh to Visakhapatnam. The accused has collected over Rs 1.5 crore from the 177 victims belonging to Vizianagaram, Visakhapatnam and Srikakulam districts.

Visakhapatnam Rural CID DSP ATV Ravi Kumar has been appointed as the investigation officer for the case. A release by the district administration mentioned that a contact number 0891-2551229 and 7382296135, where the victims from the three districts could contact the numbers and cooperate giving their statements for the investigation procedure to the appointed investigation officer. The victims can also approach the Regional CID office on the sixth floor of the VUDA building.
