Gitam Cultural Fest concludes

HYDERABAD: Gitam University’s annual techno and cultural festival Pramana-2K16 turned out to be a grand success with active participation of a large number of students and faculty from several engineering and management colleges from the city. The three-day festival which began on Wednesday, concluded on Saturday.

The festival began with the grand inaugural session followed by various events like RJ hunt, carnival parade, trash fashion, live music and break free dance. The second day of the festival was marked with popular fun events like filmfare, graffiti and street Olympics. The festival ended with DJ war, Vh1 Super Sonic on Saturday, according to a press release. More than 15,000 students from various colleges and universities across the twin cities attended the festival.

Gitam School of Technology director Prof N Siva Prasad, principal Prof Ch Sanjay, Hyderabad Business School (HBS) Dean and Director Prof S S Prasada Rao, Gitam resident director DVVSR Varma, training and placements director Dr Nathi Venu Kumar and Pramana convener Dr P Trinatha Rao were also present.
