GUNTUR: As many as ten students were injured in a road mishap at Bapatla in Guntur district on Saturday, when the school bus they were travelling in, overturned after colliding with a lorry coming from the opposite direction. The incident occurred in Patel Nagar area of the town.
According to the Bapatla police, the bus belonged to the Care English Medium school in the town was on its way to school when the accident happened.
At the time of the accident, 40 students were travelling in the bus and luckily, the injuries to the ten students were minor.
They were discharged soon after the doctors treated them at the hospital.
The police registered a case and took up investigation.
