VISAKHAPATNAM: A fire broke out in the Lohitha Life Sciences company in Jawaharlal Nehru Pharmacity in Parawada mandal of Visakhapatnam district on Monday morning. Fortunately, there was no report of injuries or casualties.
According to sources, the fire broke out allegedly due to leakage in pressure gauge attachment point. Since nobody was present on the premises during the incident, no casualty or injury was reported. On intimation two fire engines from nearby point reached the spot and doused the fire in a short time. Parawada police inspected the spot and registered a case. This is the third industrial fire mishap in a week in Visakhapatnam district. Investigation is on.
