MRPS Demands Clarity on SC Categorisation

GUNTUR: Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu should clarify his stand on the categorisation of Scheduled Castes (SCs) within 48 hours, Madiga Reservation Porata Samithi (MRPS) founder president Mandakrishna Madiga demanded here on Sunday.

Speaking to mediapersons after attending a meeting with former minister and TDP official spokesperson Dokka Manikya Varaprasad, he said the Chief Minister cannot be silent to the demands of the people. Further, State ministers are making contradictory statements on the issue, he said.

The MRPS leader said the future course of action by MRPS, regarding the categorisation of SCs, will be decided at a meeting in Vijayawada on February 18.
