GUNTUR: A six months boy, Aravind, who was abducted from Nidanampadu Srilakshmi Temple in Durgi mandal on Saturday, was traced by the Narasaraopet police near Kotappakonda on Monday.

After noticing four people moving suspiciously with a boy, locals alerted the police, who in turn rushed to the spot and rescued the boy. They also took the four accused including two women into custody for abducting the kid.

It may recalled here that Y Ramanji and his wife Manemma from Pullalacheruvu mandal in Prakasam district along with their relatives came to Nidanmpadu Srilakshmi Temple to perform their son Aravind’s ‘annaprasana’ on Saturday.

The two women approached Manemma and asked her to let them cuddle the infant and took him away.
