RAJAMAHENDRAVARAM:Andhra Pradesh State Council for Higher Education (APSCHE) has issued orders affiliating all post-graduate colleges and professional colleges to Adikavi Nannaya University (ANUR) from the academic year of 2016-2017.

Andhra University (AU) has also given its consent for transferring the colleges to ANUR, from its purview.

Addressing correspondents and principals of its affiliated colleges in the university here on Thursday, ANUR vice-chancellor Murru Mutyala Naidu asked them for suggestions to administer the colleges effectively.

Speaking on the occasion, ANUR registrar professor EN Dhanamjaya Rao said PG Centre at Kakinada also comes under the University’s jurisdiction, which currently has AU affiliation.

Meanwhile, participants at the meeting suggested to the University management to strengthen placement cell and extend academic support besides introducing new courses for the benefit of students.

University college principals and other staff were present on the occasion.
