FIEO Meet on Investment Opportunities in Sri City

TIRUPATI:  The Sri City in association with Federation of Indian Export Organisations (FIEO) jointly organised a marketing meeting on its premises in Satyavedu mandal of Chittoor district on Friday, with a view to showcase investment opportunities available in the SEZ.

Welcoming the delegates, Sri City managing director Ravindra Sannareddy showcased the competitive strengths of the SEZ and urged the investors to explore the available investment opportunities. “The big advantage of Sri City is its strategic location. It emerged as a good choice for the investors who want to locate their operations near Chennai. In Sri City, we have well-diverse sectors ranging from manufacturing to food processing and high-tech industries. Now, we have focused on creating world class social infrastructure,” he explained.

FIEO management committee member (southern region) HE Abdul Azeez felt that that SEZs were the real growth engines of Indian economy, he lauded the efforts of the commerce ministry for publicising the concept among the potential investors. Delivering the inaugural address, Sri City SEZ development commissioner Anil K Choudhary said that the roadshow was organised to bridge the communication gap about the policies on SEZs and their implications among the investors. He promised to extend cooperation to the investors in doing business at Sri City.
