It’s sad when righteous don't speak out: Naidu

VIJAYAWADA: Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu on Sunday came down heavily on the Opposition parties for creating a negative mind set among people. He said that such acts would only make the Opposition lose its credibility among the public.

In a teleconference with officials and people’s representatives on Sunday, the CM expressed unhappiness over the ‘false propaganda’ by the Opposition against the TDP government. He said that it was sad when the righteous do not let their voices be heard against such false propaganda, but claimed that people have immense confidence in his government.

On the occasion of World Environment Day, the Chief Minister urged the people of AP to take up tree plantation on a war-footing basis. He said that the focus should be on nurturing the trees not just planting them. The CM also stressed that Andhra Pradesh should be at the forefront of safeguarding the environment and urged people to take up tree plantation on special occasions like birthdays and wedding days.
