VIJAYAWADA: The bodies of Narra Sasikala (38) and her son Anish Sai (6) are expected to reach Timmarajupalem village in Parchur mandal of Prakasam district in the wee hours of Sunday.

However, Sasikala’s parents are tight-lipped over the arrival of the bodies and as to where the funeral will be performed. Meanwhile, the arrival of Hanumantha Rao to India to perform the last rituals of his wife and son also remains to be a suspense, as his family members are still maintaining silence on his arrival. There is a dual version on Hanumantha Rao's presence at the funeral.

Sasikala and her son Anish Sai were found dead in a pool of blood on the night of March 23 at their flat in Fox Meadows Apartment Complex in Burlington of New Jersey, USA. Even after nine days of investigation, the police did not find any clues about the twin murders. With the allegations raised by Sasikala’s parents that Hanumantha Rao murdered their daughter and grandson, the police investigation on those lines.

However, Hanumantha Rao proved his alibi that he was in his office from 9 am to 8 pm when the offence took place. Meanwhile, he sent a message to his in-laws that he wish to complete the last rituals in Burlington only which was strongly objected by her parents.

“According to our information, the police have returned the passport of Hanumantha Rao and also gave their nod to go India. However, we do not have information that Hanumantha Rao is coming or not. It is true that the bodies are coming to Timmarajupalem and we do not have information about timings,” one of the close relatives of Hanumantha Rao informed.

However, the version of Sasikala’s parents was completely different. The parents are still in a state of confusion about the arrival of the bodies. The members of Telugu Association of North America confirmed that the bodies have already been lifted in an Air India flight, which was expected to land in Mumbai by 2.30 pm on Saturday. The bodies will again airlifted to Hyderabad and the bodies will be shifted to Timmarajupalem in Prakasam district by road.
