GUNTUR: Chakravarthi AVPS, Hyderabad-based packaging professional, has been appointed as Ambassador of World Packaging Organisation (WPO).
The appointment took place in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil at the 99th board meeting of WPO. He is the first Asian to get this honour. The recognition is bestowed on him for his contribution to the Indian and global packaging industry for over 30 years. Chakravarthi is the CEO and managing director of Hyderabad-based Ecobliss India.
