KURNOOL: YSR Congress chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has said the party will strive to get SC status for Boya community. The party will give the Lok Sabha ticket to a Boya leader either from Kurnool or Anantapur district in the ensuing general elections, he said.
As part of his Praja Sankalpa Yatra, Jagan covered several villages in Pattikonda Assembly segment on Sunday. Addressing a BC communities’ meeting at Gorantla village, he said the YSRC will distribute livestock to shepherd communities and it will also insure each animal thus dispersed though an identification code. Like 108 and 104 services, a separate 102 service will be launched for the health of livestock.
