CM Chandrababu Naidu yet to okay government complex designs 

Chandrababu Naidu has decided to take more time for the finalisation of designs for the AP Legislative Assembly, Secretariat and High Court buildings.

VIJAYAWADA: Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu, who is keen on the construction of a world class capital city, has decided to take more time for the finalisation of designs for the AP Legislative Assembly, Secretariat and High Court buildings, which are part of the Government Administrative Complex. He announced that designs would be finalised by the end of October.

“Amaravati will be a futuristic city. There’s no question of compromising on its quality!” he said, while speaking to journalists on Thursday evening.With this, the scheduled foundation stone laying ceremony for the AP Legislature Secretariat on September 30 (Vijayadasami) has been  postponed. “It will not be proper to lay the foundation stone without finalising the designs,” the Chief Minister said.After going through the designs Naidu suggested the architects take more time on the façade of the building.
