Father and friends impregnate minor daughter, arrested in Nellore

 A 13-year-old tribal girl from Menakuru Colony in Naidupet of the district has entered her fourth month of pregnancy after her father and his friends sexually exploited her for over a year.

NELLORE: A 13-year-old tribal girl from Menakuru Colony in Naidupet of the district has entered her fourth month of pregnancy after her father and his friends sexually exploited her for over a year.

The accused have been arrested Acting on a complaint lodged by Women and Child Welfare Department officials, police arrested her father Jadala Ankaiah and his friends B Sreenu, J Vishnu and E Sreenu.

According to Naidupet Police, Ankaiah had been living with his daughter after his wife separated from him seven years ago. Their sons live with the mother in another village of the district.


Ankaiah began abusing her a year back and later allowed his friends to exploit her too.

Unable to bear the torture, the girl whose health was deteriorating moved in with her mother who lived in Kundam village of Ozili mandal.

After learning about what happened, the mother took her to a doctor on August 23 for a medical check up. It was then confirmed that she was pregnant.She immediately approached Women and Child Welfare Department officials for help.

They lodged a complaint with the police who booked cases against Ankaiah and his friends and arrested them.
