VISAKHAPATNAM : As another year marks its beginning, the Airport Authority of India (AAI), Visakhapatnam International Airport, added a few more facilities for the convenience of passengers on Monday.
To facilitate the need of differently-abled persons and senior citizens, a battery car was inaugurated by airport director Vinod Sharma. It is provided at aerobridge corridor for ferrying the passengers from boarding gate to entry point of aircraft.
In an effort to enable passengers to get the boarding pass without standing in long queues in front of check-in counters, a self check-in kiosk was also inaugurated by the airport director.
The AAI officials of Visakhapatnam Airport welcomed the passengers with flowers and sweets on the occasion of the New year on Monday.
