VIJAYAWADA: Sri Potti Sriramulu College of Engineering conducted a seminar on ‘Latest Technology and Trend Predictions’ here on Thursday.

Keynote speaker in the seminar, GCH Ravi Kiran of Sapient Business Development Company, Geneva, advised the students to focus on research and keep up-to-date with the latest technology and modern mechanisation.

He added that there is a need for students to view learning beyond textbooks and should get hands-on experience.

The students interacted with Ravi Kiran and got their doubts clarified.

He pointed out that not just student motivation, connections to real life experiences and aspirations also are important for internalising what one learns at college.

He noted that self-awareness of each student should be raised. Knowing one’s strengths and weaknesses is a powerful tool for our interaction with the world. Each experience teaches us something about ourselves, he added.
