VIJAYAWADA: “Every individual has a responsibility to contribute his/her bit for the eradication of poverty, economic disparity and discrimination from the society,” Union Minister for Urban Development M Venkaiah Naidu stressed. Speaking at the first anniversary of the Swarna Bharat Trust at Atkuru in Gannavaram mandal, Krishna district here on Sunday, Venkaiah Naidu said it’s not only the responsibility of the government to eradicate these social ills but also of the people.

Stating that to serve humanity is to serve God, Naidu said Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s primary agenda was to eradicate poverty, discrimination and remove economic disparities. “If each and everyone of us participates in service activities, we will see a change in the country and we can make India a strong nation,” he asserted.
