VIJAYAWADA: Extramarital affair prompted a woman and her paramour to brutally kill her husband at Ajith Singh Nagar in Vijayawada on November 15, 2016. The city police on Friday arrested the duo along with four others who helped them in disposing of the body. Another accused is absconding.
According to police, Nilla Durga Prasad (38), owner of Amma Jewellery at Pipula Road in Ajith Singh Nagar of Vijayawada, was staying in the first floor of the building. He was murdered by his wife Nagakota Someswari, 25, and her paramour Majji Simhachalam, 30, who was also a worker in their shop, in November last year.
After disposing of the body in a drain near Gunadala railway station, Someswari lodged a missing complaint with the Ajith Singh Nagar police on November 16. The next day, the railway police were informed about an unidentified body in the drain and they registered a case of suspicious death.
