CII to boost industry-institute interface
VISAKHAPATNAM: The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) is working with the government on policy issues, enhancing efficiency, competitiveness and business opportunities for industry through strategic global linkages, D Tirupati Raju, chairman of CII Visakhapatnam Zone said.
During a media interaction in the city on Tuesday, he made a detailed presentation on the activities, projects and other key initiatives of the CII, Visakhapatnam Zone.
The chairman elaborated on various programmes such as skill development through industry-institute Interactions and CEOs’ talk as part of which the experts would share their experiences, knowledge and skills to boost an environment of entrepreneurship development.
He also said that the CII Vizag was focusing on enhancing the capacity building and competitiveness of the industries, in association with the CII- Centres of excellence (CII CoE’s)-Institute of Logistics, Green Business Centre and Institute of Quality and etc.
G Murali Krishna, vice-chairman of the biz chamber explained about the CII’s corporate initiatives for comprehensive development across various domains including healthcare, education and even water supply.
