VIJAYAWADA: YSRC MLA K Roja said the YSRC is not running away from its responsibility of being an Opposition but at the same time, it cannot be party to the wanton disregard of the Parliamentary democracy that the ruling party is indulging in.

Speaking to mediapersons in Hyderabad, she reiterated her party’s demand for disqualification of the ‘turncoats’. She said it was not YSRC which was running away, but it was Chandrababu Naidu, who has been doing it and shifting the base to Amaravati from Hyderabad after the cash-forvote incident.

“It is Chandrababu Naidu, who ran away lock, stock and barrel at that time,” she said. She said her party is ready to attend the Assembly, provided the Speaker disqualifies the defectors and asked the Speaker to uphold the decorum of the House by taking action against those 21 MLAs.
