GUNTUR: Vice-President M Venkaiah Naidu and Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu will inaugurate the Vellore Institute of Technology’s AP campus at Amaravati on November 28.
District Collector K Sasidhar reviewed the security arrangements ahead of the event on Friday. He said the Vice-President will address the students after the inaugural.
He said more than 5,000 students are expected to turn up for the event. The Vice-President and the Chief Minister will inaugurate the administrative and hostel blocks on the campus.
Guntur Rural SP Ch Venkata Appala Naidu, APCRDA additional commissioner B L Chennakesava Rao and other officials were also present.
