GUNTUR: Tenali police arrested four persons in connection with the murder of a man. Disclosing this to newsmen on Sunday, Two Town CI B Kalyan said Dasaboina Gopi (35) of Kantamraju Konduru married Sujatha long ago.    Having learnt that she developed extramarital relationship with some others, he warned her.

Later, he shifted his family to Vetapalem. But Sujatha continued her illicit affairs. Vexed with her attitude, Gopi threatened to gift his farm land to his sisters if she failed to stop the illegal affairs. The worried Sujatha hatched a conspiracy to murder her husband Gopi with the help of Sk Arif of Kolakaluru.

In pursuance of the plan, she visited Tenali along with her husband on September 13 where they met Arif and his friends K Jayaraj and MS Sankar. The trio took Gopi to Kolakaluru where they consumed liquor. Arif offered liquor mixed with sedatives to Gopi.

While he was in an inebriated state, the trio threw Gopi into a canal. Sujatha lodged complaint with Tsunduru police on September 15 stating that her husband went missing. The police found the body of Gopi in the canal at Telagayapalem. Later, it was revealed that Sujatha eliminated her husband.
