VISAKHAPATNAM: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MLA and floor leader in the Assembly P Vishnukumar Raju strongly condemned chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu’s recent comments. Referring to the comments “All activities in the state will come to a standstill if I just issue a bandh call. But I don’t do that, because such activities affect the development of the state.”

With statements like that, what message did our CM wants to send to the public? Does he think himself as an emperor or the most powerful dictator of the world? Will he be able to stop all the activities of the Defence forces like Navy, Army and Air Force, Income Tax and CBI? Will he rule the airlines and railways too? he questioned.

Do you want the North-South divide among the people? This is not correct on his part. This does not behove a chief minister to pass such remarks,” the MLA said. He further said, “These comments tell us that the CM is in a very disturbed and psychologically- stressed state as he was deserted by all other political parties. All this explains his mindset. The CM is under tremendous mental stress and his agony is how to face the 2019 elections and not about the public welfare at all,” said Vishnukumar Raju.
