Officials try to resolve Andhra Pradesh Bhavan row

Andhra Bhavan in New Delhi continues to be a bone of contention between Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. 

HYDERABAD: Andhra Bhavan in New Delhi continues to be a bone of contention between Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. Officials from both the states met for the first time on Wednesday to sort out the matter, though with not much headway. However, AP officials came with five proposals on sharing Andhra Bhavan between the two states. It was on the suggestion of the Ministry of Home Affairs that the meeting was held.

“The AP officials came to us with five proposals, which includes financial proposals. We will inform their suggestions to Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao. Later, the government will take a decision on the proposals of AP,” an official said. However, the officials of both the States stated that they was some headway in resolving the AP Bhavan row.
