VIJAYAWADA: The BJP has made all arrangements to organise 5,000 Praja Poru meetings in the State from September 17 to October 2, said the party State president Somu Veerraju. Holding a virtual meeting with BJP leaders and the organising committee of Praja Poru meetings on Sunday, Veerraju said the State would witness some unexpected developments soon.

The main objective of ‘Praja Poru’ is to expose the ‘anti-people’ policies of the YSRC government in the State and its failures on all fronts. The BJP is the only alternative to the YSRC to provide better governance to people, Praja Poru will be a perfect platform to reach out to the people and explain what BJP has been doing to the State and how the YSRC has failed as a government. A special committee and zonal incharges have been appointed to ensure the smooth conduct of meetings,” he said.

Participating in the Parliament Pravas Yojana meeting held at Gudivada, he advised the BJP cadre to be active on social media. He stressed that all the schemes sponsored by the Centre should have the image of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Union Minister of State for Health and Family Welfare Bharati Pawar too stressed that the photo of the Prime Minister be displayed on every Central government-sponsored scheme.
