BELGAUM: A minor girl was allegedly kidnapped and raped by a youth in Savadatti taluk recently.
Murgod police admitted the 17-year-old victim to the district hospital here for medical test on Saturday.
According to the complaint filed by the victim’s father, his daughter went missing on March 17.
He alleged that Kalandar Hazaratsab Nadaf of Rainapur village in Savadatti taluk had kidnapped her by giving false assurance to marry her.
She was also raped, the victim’s father further alleged in the complaint.
Police sources informed that the minor girl managed to come back to her parents in the dark hours of March 23 and narrated the whole incident.
A case has been filed at Mugod police station.
