BJP state president K S Eshwarappa demanded that Justice Santosh Hegde should quit Team Anna.
Eshwarappa accused Hegde of having a different view on dereservation of forest by SM Krishna when he was the chief minister.
Speaking to media persons here on Sunday, he said that S M Krishna was the fifth in the list of 15 members of Union Ministers by Baba Ramdev. The list had the names of people, who were involved in corruption, according to Ramdev. “This apart, Team Anna had evidence against Krishna’s involvement in illegal mining. But Santosh Hegde did not support Team Anna on this issue,” he said.
He said that if Hegde had no faith in Team Anna, he should have resigned. But he is more passionate about UPA as this was proved when he gave clean chit to S M Krishna and indicted B S Yeddyurappa in his report on illegal mining. Hegde should not play a dual role and come out of Team Anna, he added.
