BANGALORE: Former chief minister B S Yeddyurappa has expressed displeasure over the reply given by the state government to the CEC on conducting CBI probe against former chief ministers S M Krishna, Dharam Singh and H D Kumaraswamy.

“The state government’s conduct in the matter is suspicious and partial. When the CEC sought opinion about me, it gave it without wasting time. But, in the case of three former CMs, the government has not given full information despite taking two weeks’ time,” he told reporters before leaving to Mumbai to participate in the BJP national executive meet on Friday. He said that he would discuss the matter with Chief Minister D V Sadananda Gowda. “I will seek explanation from him,” he added. The state in its reply to the CEC had said it was its prerogative to recommend CBI probe against the three former CMs.
