BTech student held for raping 4-year-old

A four-year-old girl was allegedly raped by a 17-year-old at Chunchanahalli village in Nagamangala taluk on Thursday.

A four-year-old girl was allegedly raped by a 17-year-old at Chunchanahalli village in Nagamangala taluk on Thursday.

The accused from Chunchanahalli village is a BTech student of a college in Mysore and his father works in the Animal Husbandry Department hospital in the village.

On Thursday morning, the father told the accused to open the office door. A woman medical staff working for the Primary Health Centre stays next to the office.  Her sister and brother-in-law came home to drop their daughter as the couple had to attend a meeting in the next village. The child was playing outside the house when the accused took the child to the animal husbandry hospital and allegedly raped her and left the place. When the child went home crying, the parents enquired and she narrated the incident. The parents informed the police who later arrested him.
