BANGALORE: The State government has issued guidelines on general transfer of the government employees for 2014-15 specifying the minimum tenure for various classes of employees.
The guidelines make it clear that transfers should be effected only if necessary and should be minimised as far as possible. A minimum tenure of one year has been fixed for transfer of all Group A and B employees, while it is two years for Group C employees and seven years for Group D employees.
Any transfer to be made after the June 10 deadline could be effected only with the consent from the Chief Minister.
