Poll Boycott Withdrawn

Around 94 families in Chamarajanagar taluk have decided to take back their decision to boycott the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.

The families were boycotting the elections in protest against the improper distribution of ration by the fair price shop in Moodala Agrahara.

District SVEEP Committee president and ZP CEO K H Narasimhamurthy on Sunday promised to address their problem and pacified the protestors who had demanded ration from the fair price shop in Ummatthur.  After his assurances, the villagers agreed to vote.
