Street Dogs Attack Two Children

Street dogs attacked two children in Saraswathi Puram extension in the city on Monday. Srujan (5), son of Shivakumar, and Tejus (6), son of Dinesh, of the same locality have been admitted to a government hospital here.

Street dogs attacked two children in Saraswathi Puram extension in the city on Monday. Srujan (5), son of Shivakumar, and Tejus (6), son of Dinesh, of the same locality have been admitted to a government hospital here.

The incident occurred when the children were playing in front of their house.

The dogs were chased away by the people who came to the rescue of the children.

The residents are demanding that the municipality cull the street dogs and threatened to stage a dharna in front of the office if they do not take any action.

Bees Kill One, Injure Two

Chikballapur: A youngster who was stung by honeybees died and two others were injured near Kanampalli of Chinthamani taluk. The victims had gone to a small hill to attend nature’s call when the bees attacked them.

They had reportedly gone to attend a marriage. While Vinayaka (18) succumbed to his injuries, his friends Tafiz and Naveen are undergoing treatment in Chinthamani Hospital.
