Two Arrested for Ramming Traffic Cop

BANGALORE:  Two youths were arrested after they rammed a sub-inspector  with their motorcycle while pulling stunts on the road.

R T Nagar SI Paramashivaiah suffered a fracture in his leg and hand and is admitted to HOSMAT. Sanjaynagar police arrested Yasin Ahmed and Ahmed Baig.

 Traffic police conducted a special drive from 10 pm  on Saturday to 12 am after residents complained of youths pulling bike stunts from Bellary road to CBI office. The SI was hurt when he tried to stop the duo from attempting wheelies. They tried to escape but police officials chased them, said West division DCP Girish.

On the eve of Shab-e-Qadar, police arrested 34 people for dangerous driving, seized 59 vehicles and recommended cancellation of 59 driving licences.
