“Irrespective of the outcome of the primary, I will campaign along with veteran leader B Janardhan Poojary,” Harsha Moily, son of Minister for Petroleum and Natural Gas M Veerappa Moily, had promised.

After his nomination was rejected during scrutiny, Harsha had declared that he would campaign for Poojary in Dakshina Kannada.

As promises made by politicians are meant to be broken, budding politician Harsha Moily has not kept his promise.

According to sources in the party, Harsha, who heads MokshaYug Access India Private Limited, is campaigning for his father Veerappa Moily in Chikballapur. He is spearheading the strategy, planning, back office and campaign teams.

Senior Congress leaders campaigning for Poojary confirmed that Harsha Moily who turned his back after the primaries, never retraced his footsteps to Mangalore.
