CM Siddaramaiah to launch 637 KSRTC buses today

BENGALURU: The Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) will roll out 637 new city buses on Thursday to provide better connectivity in medium and small cities of the state. The city buses will be launched by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, Union ministers Venkaiah Naidu, D V Sadananda Gowda and State Transport Minister Ramalinga Reddy in front of Vidhana Soudha at 10 am on Thursday.

The buses will operate in Mangaluru, Udupi, Chikkamagaluru, Shivamogga, Chitradurga, Ramanagara, Tumakuru, Kolar and KGF. They will have modern amenities such as CCTV cameras, panic buttons, and voice announcement system with LED display.
