BENGALURU: Karnataka Congress has come in support of the party leader and former MP Ramya against whom a sedition case has been filed after her comment, "Pakistan is not a hell."

KPCC Working President Dinesh Gundurao said "we need not learn lessons on patriotism from BJP and ABVP leaders who had stayed away from Independence struggle. I support what Ramya has said about Pakistan."

Gundurajo said she had just spoken about her experience during a visit to Pakistan. ``It is outfits like BJP and ABVP which are pursuing divisive ideology and action should be taken against them not Ramya,'' he added.

Meanwhile, Ramya has refused to apologize for her comments on Pakistan and people in that country.
