MYSURU: A seven-year-old boy died at Pushpa Vidya Samsthe in Periyapatna town on Tuesday. Mohit Gowda, son of PB Srinivas, a former Town Panchayat member, attended his classes as usual.
At 2.30 pm, he went out of the class and returned after a few minutes. After sometime, he fell ill. The school authorities provided him first aid and informed his parents.
The parents who arrived at the school, rushed him to government hospital where he was declared brought dead. A huge number of people gathered before the hospital after the news spread. ASP Harish Pande visited the spot. Periyapatna police are investigating the case.
