2nd topper found inspiration in sister

MYSURU: “I am happy that I have done well like my sister who was the state topper in 2008. I want to be a doctor so that I can serve the needy,” said N S Eeshu, who was delighted to have bagged the second position at the SSLC exams.

Eeshu, who scored 624 out of 625 marks, lost one mark in social science. Eeshu of Marimallappa school told Express that throughout her preparations she was stress free. “I did not have a timetable. I believe in quality reading and had put in my 100 per cent,” she said.

“I had expected to get the top score. I am happy and my parents and sister are ecstatic,” she said. Eeshu said her sister Aishwaraya was her source of inspiration. Aishwaraya had scored 618 and was the state topper in 2008.

Her mother Sharimala said she was the alarm clock. “I would wake her from her naps every time. We are happy that both our daughters have topped. They have proved that hard work always yields good results,” she said.
